PS3 Firmware 2.41 Released
By Paul Munn | July 8, 2008
Sony has released firmware 2.41 early this morning, and it brings trophies to the masses without the bricking effects of 2.40, or so they say. Simply powering on your PS3 and going to System Update will let you download and apply the update.
Something new in this update I haven’t noticed before is an option to have the system power down after the update is completed. Nice, but I watched this update like a hawk to make sure it worked and lo and behold it did.
