If developer Red Fly sounds familiar, it could be because of our recent mention of them as the developer of the Wii version of the upcoming Ghostbusters game. Before Ghostbusters was announced however, we knew Red Fly as the developer of the Mushroom Men games that Gamecock is bringing to Nintendo Wii and DS. The DS version of Mushroom Men is called Rise of the Fungi, and the Wii version is The Spore Wars. One’s mind boggles at the sheer potential in fungus-related puns for this pair of games. That alone indicates how probable Mushroom Men is to become a franchise.
