"When activated, the second player can snap off pictures during anything that isn’t a cutscene"

I only own a Wii, but that sounds really cool. I need to let me wife know about that option, perhaps she'll let me get a PS3 now.

I doubt they'll fix Lego Indy. That's like a major fix and it's something they probably did big usability tests on, spending lots of money, in the first place.

The Adventures of Cookie and Cream is great, but you have to be able to jump well in that one. I never beat the final boss because my number 2 at the time wasn't quite up to snuff.

Bungie Buddies in WarioWare Smooth Moves is a rompin good co-op time.

I can't really think of any other passive 2player assistance games. Although I think you could have someone play as Yorda in the PAL version of Ico on a second playthrough. Although being helpless and running away from shadow monsters, while helpful to player 1, probably isn't very fun.

Those are definitely multiplayer games that are easier for co-dependents to access than, say, Starcraft or even Smash Bros, but they still require some fairly serious gaming chops to play them. If you're lousy at jumping and attacking, you're going to be in trouble.

I'm mainly looking for games where P2 does something almost entirely different than P1, but still interesting, useful and fun.

Did they fix the 2P camera problems in the LEGO Indy? Because that was an effing nightmare in LEGO Star Wars.
