Too Human Days Away From Being Finished

Submitted by Levi Thornton on June 13, 2008 – 11:18 amComments

Ragnarok has finally come, Too Human is close to being finished. From Dennis Dyack’s Blog:

Once we fix these rare bugs, we will start to prepare “Release Candidate” for RTX (gold master disc) approval – this is likely just days away.

It’s good to know that this game is finally coming to a end of development and we can finally get our hands on it. Personally, I been looking forward when I finally realize its going to be sort of a Devil May Cry meets Diablo meets Geometry Wars.

I can see why you say that if you just watch the Cinematic trailers and not the game play trailers. When I watch the game play trailers it has diablo written all over it.
  • Maybe it is just me, but this game seems to be a totally differnt bill of goods from the way is has been packaged in trailers. I kept expecting more of a Deus Ex meets Final Fantasy type game, but it is a simple hack and slash Diablo clone, that does not seem to do that quite right from the videos that Silicon Knights has released.

Maybe I built up the wrong impression, but that was what I got from everything that was out there. If I want Diablo, I will go and break out my Diablo Warchest. Besides, the gameplay in Diablo does not seem to translate well to today's gamers, as Hellgate London proved. Even beyond the bugginess of that game, the hack and slash gameplay just did not work.

I have to stop now, I might just start frothing at the mouth in irritation.
