Sonic Unleashed looking more sick all the time.

And when I say sick, I mean, as in, “holy crap man, that is sick.”

I don’t think I can remember the last time I saw a trailer for a game that was all in-game footage and that’s it. No text. No voice-overs, no menus, just Sonic the Hedgehog doing what Sonic should always be doing. Running very, very fast. Can you believe the way this game looks? I wonder what the Wii version looks like… I think this will much more likely be a PS3 buy for me.

    i have to admit it looks really good i loved the dream cast sonic this reminds me of that i might pick it up once it goes to 30 bucks

    Holy crap, it’s like watching the 3D sonic we’ve all been imagining since Sonic 3D Blast came out and sucked.

    I’m still pretty convinced Sega will screw this up.

    There have been several. There was a terrible one called Sonic the Hedgehog on 360 in 2006, PS3 in 2007. There was a better one called Sonic and the Secret Rings on Wii in 2007. This takes some of the better ideas from Secret Rings and locks Sonic down to a side view much of the time, hopefully resolving the irritating camera issues the 3D Sonic games are plagued with.
