Hey Joe,

I am both a console and PC gamer and can say hands down that PC gaming is far superior. Although I must say that I partially agree with Stephen's first comment. I personally don't think that PC gaming is dead nor anywhere near death however the concept of PC gaming is dying a slow death with the mass population. To the semi-hardcore and casual gamers the PC is something you use to browse the internet, write papers, etc. and maybe playing games online.
They really don't seem interested in buying a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 to play Crysis or figuring out what file to patch or making sure your drivers match the specs of the game when they can get restively the same experience from a console. This becomes more apparent when you take the ease that is console gaming in to consideration: one time initial investment (console), regarding game- they are guaranteed to work and all you need to do is insert the disc and start playing.

People now days usually prefer low cost and simplicity, and sadly the PC is not that. I can write a book about his however I will end this here this comment is getting kind of long but I will end with this.

PC gaming is not dead but far from it especially with the backing of Valve, Blizzard and other developers, in spite of the concept of PC gaming is slowly dying among the masses.

Marconi.

P.S.
Aren't we all PC gamers at one level or another, seriously name one person that hasn't played Solitaire.

Why would anyone want to play games on a PC when you can play them on a console?
