Having something great but never talking about it? Mario Kart Wii has been getting a lot of meh reviews, a lot of people complaining that it doesn't do enough to move the needle, and Nintendo never once says "Yeah, but we're going to have online tournaments featuring secret levels and non-boring-time-trial goals.
