Happy Birthday, Aeropause
It doesn’t feel like 3 years, but damnit it is.
The first thing that came to mind while writing this was – What was the most memorable moment for me? Well that would have to be the Dead Rising 60,000 Kills Video Walkthrough by Richard Windsor, which received some admiration and attention on the interweb. Kotaku picked it up and then G4 Tech TV decided to “borrow” the video and put it on their TV show giving no credit to us. They discovered we were discontent with their kindergarten practice of asking for stuff, so they made a happy sing song video for us, to which I’ve just discovered, no longer exists on their site…apparently. Don’t get us wrong, there’s no hard feelings or grudges, it was just damn funny. By the way If any one has a link to the video, I’d like to see it again!
I wanted to thank all the people who read, write or have written on the site over the years, especially those who have been around since day 1 – you make the site happen…blah blah teary eyes, blow out 3 candles and open some presents.
I also wanted to thank the excellent people we work with at Microsoft’s Gamerscore, RocketXL, Lila Yee of RelatePR, Andrew Green at EA and many more.
Who wants cake?

You offer me cake, when we all know that “The Cake is a Lie”. For shame. But seriously, happy birthday. I have only been writing on the site for a little over a year, but it has been a blast and I want to say thanks to all that keep coming back. You are the reason that we continue to do this day in and day out.
Not if there’s ice cream in it…
