Xbox Live Lessons

Jeremy Gundel of College Humor put together a comical list of: “Things I’ve Learned On Xbox Live”. Jeremy’s list makes a pretty good attempt at understanding how the young adolescent male mind works while playing video games. His second to last point:

Everybody loses sometimes
Don’t feel bad, It’s probably just a result of you “sucking goat balls.”

It’s true, Jeremy. I’ve noticed this a lot on Xbox Live and more recently in multiplayer mode in GTA IV. If you’re really good in a game; kicking ass and helping your team NOT die, they’ll want to add your Gamertag to their Friend’s list. On the other hand if you just plain suck, you’ll hear about it or better yet they’ll try and make you look like an ass in front of everyone else by way of shooting or bad mouthing you. Where’s the camaraderie? In the Clans I suppose.
