Oops, Sony Identifies New Eye of Judgement Cards as “Misprinted”

    By Joe Haygood | May 29, 2008

Friend of the show, WONBOT, aka, Wombat from Gamesblog.ugo.com, pointed out a recent issue with the new Eye of Judgement deck that came out.  It seems that the new cards are somewhat more powerful than the original deck that came with the camera.  Actually, they are a whole lot more powerful to the point that fans wer complaining that this was more of a ploy by Sony to get people to buy the new deck.

Well, official word from Sony has come out, and it seems that it was not a ploy to get people to buy the new pack of cards, but a misprint on the cards.  It seems that there is a patch coming that will fix the problems that have come about with the new deck.  Not to be a conspiracist theorist, but I would have to say that Sony felt the heat from the fanbase and decided that releasing a patch would fix the problems, and smooth over customer dissent.
