LucasArts Leaves the ESA, Still Going To E3
By Joe Haygood | May 16, 2008
Following on the heels of Activision/Blizzard, LucasArts has confirmed that they are not renewing their membership in the ESA. However, LucasArts confirmed that they still support the mission of the ESA and that they will still attend E3 in Los Angeles, CA this year.
Not sure what the factors were that motivated them to leave the alliance, but the continued loss of members, will surely cause issues for the ESA in regards to all of their operations, including the ESRB and their lobbying efforts in Washington.
