Judas Priest, The Cars, Pixies Albums Coming to Rock Band

    By Matthew Kellar | April 18, 2008

Rejoice! The “Album” button in the Rock Band Store will remain dim no longer. Today Harmonix announced that they will be releasing Judas Priest’s full album, “Screaming for Vengeance” next Tuesday. The album includes 10 tracks which can be purchased separately at 160 MS points ($1.99) or all together for 1200 MS Points (14.99). The full song list appears after the break.

Tracks: Judas Priest Screaming For Vengeance Album
    “The Hellion”
    “Electric Eye”
    “Riding on the Wind”
    “Bloodstone”
    “(Take These) Chains”
    “Pain and Pleasure”
    “Screaming for Vengeance”
    “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’”
    “Fever”
    “Devil’s Child”
(All ten tracks utilize the original master recordings)
(“The Hellion” & “Electric Eye” will be offered together as 1 DLC track)

It appears that a different album will be released each month with The Cars’ self-titled album coming in May and Pixies’ album “Doolittle” coming in June. However, this probably is not a trend that will continue indefinitely. An information-infused interview with Harmonix can be found over at Kotaku. Truly, the future of Rock Band is upon us.

    • Uh oh you posted the album cover. I think the RIAA might come after you for that. It might make people buy the music. Can't have that.
    • It now seems like if you're not on Rock Band, you're not popular. It is pretty cool that the Pixies are in, love that band.
