Free Halo 3 Legendary Map Code Arrives, Works

Submitted by on April 19, 2008 – 4:07 am6 Comments

In case you missed it, Circuit City has an online only deal right now offering you a free code for the new Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack if you pre-order Ninja Gaiden II for the Xbox 360. I pre-ordered on Tuesday and finally got my code via email today. I tried the code tonight and it works. As of this posting, the offer is still in place on Circuit City’s website.

Now I’m not one to try and beat the system, but it would seem that there is technically nothing stopping a person from canceling their pre-order once the Legendary code is delivered. I don’t recommend anyone try to take advantage of Circuit City’s good faith, I’m just some guy pointing out a loop-hole.

He he, I was to quickly to jump the gun on the maps to take this offer. Oh well… :) .

Well Levi, you could still pre-order NGII and then sell your code to someone. That’s probably more trouble than its worth though. At least by paying you got to play the new maps on day one. I had to suffer through several days of wishing I could play them.

i would say get them this way if you havent already cause a pre order is only like what 5 bucks. also i bet this will be the most reserved game and the least purchased on launch day because of it.
