The Witcher Comes to Browsers Everywhere
CD Projekt RED, not content with sitting on the success of their 600,000+ sales of The Witcher, the development team has decided to strike new ground with The Witcher: DuelMail, a web based action game.
The Witcher: DuelMail is a Flash based fighting game, that has you create a character from one of three classes and then take them online to duel against other players. The three classes that you select from are Witcher, Sorceress and Frightener. Each class will have its own strengths and weaknesses that you can tweak to your liking.
Fighting uses a simple queued based system, where you select a series of attacks and it will execute them when you have enough points to attack. If you are one of the six people that played The Matrix Online, it sounds a lot like that kind of battle system, which was one of the better points of that game.
The game is completely free and the beta will be open starting in a few weeks. I do hope that CD Projekt is working on a sequel, because as the guys from Penny Arcade said, you can’t get enough Witchy.
