PixelJunk Dungeons Might Scratch The Itch

Impolite to point!I’ve been a huge fan of dungeon crawlers way back into the days of the original Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance. The never-ending search for loot with friends is my #1 choice for online co-op. Even if the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance sequel will include online play, those superhero have always had a serious lack of loot.

The newly announced PixelJunk Dungeons might just scratch my itch. While Q-games has yet to officially release a trailer for their upcoming game, only releasing a trailer for Eden today, I’m eagerly awaiting more information about Dungeons.

    I too was excited by just the name.

    Problem with Marvel Ultimate Alliance wasn’t so much the loot factor as the fact that you couldn’t save the characters out and bring them into any given online or offline game to keep playing the way you could in BGDA and Champions of Norrath. The characters are part and parcel of given saved games.

    I think I mentioned that in my review of MUA for the PS3.

    The video of Eden seems pretty interesting…but more curious about PixelJunk Dungeons. I’m already a fan of PixelJunk Monsters and am really enjoying it.
