Xbox 360 Releases for January 2008

There’s not much coming out this month, but there are three titles that (not counting Arcade titles like Omega Five) seem rent and/or buy worthy.
The 8th sees the arrival of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom. This title is eschewing the RTS elements, and they’re calling this one an “Action RPG”. That’s cool, I guess. As long as its better than Two Worlds.
And on the 10th is a nominee for longest name for an Xbox 360 game ever, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements. This is a Fantasy FPS where you run around and kill junk. It uses the source engine, and I’m not sure how similar this is to the title that was released on Steam a while back. It doesn’t seem to be too heavy on RPG elements.
Later in the month we’ll see if EA can reverse the fortune of the Burnout series with the release of Burnout: Paradise on 1/22. Burnout 3 was okay… but remember that Burnout 3 had already been in development by the time Criterion was bought up by EA. Then the dumbed-down, last-gen quality release of Burnout Revenge saw EA stay true to form on the Xbox 360. We’ll see if the final game can match the buzz created around the release of the demo, last month.
I noticed that Dark Sector is coming out in Europe on 1/22. Why the heck are they getting it in January, while North America has to wait until March. Hmm, wonder if I should import it…
It’s also worth noting some cool titles coming out the first week in Feb. I want to tell you about them now so you can start saving money. On 2/5 we’ll be getting Culdcept SAGA (which was a blast to play at PAX 07), Devil May Cry 4, and Turok. Sweet!

The Burnout demo didn’t get me giddy so that leaves me with the possibility of getting an import of Dark Sector!
what the hell happend to army of two ? and why is Europe getting dark sector before us lol this is some kind of miracle for them
Army of Two got pushed back again so they could do some more work on it. They started giving previews to a bunch of people and everyone shouted back that the game sucks as it currently was. So, they pushed it back to try and make it not suck.
well i know about them delaying it but last i herd it was only delayed till jan something so im guessing they have delayed it again which sucks because i really wanted to play it but i guess call of duty will have to make up for the month of jan
