Stor3d: Devil May Cry 4 demo, The Club demo and PixelJunk Monsters.
This week I’ll be playing the new Devil May Cry 4 demo as soon as I possibly can, but I won’t be buying PixelJunk Monsters right away — USD 7.99 limited time pricing or no — because there’s no demo for it. I might give the hefty 1700 Meg download for The Club demo a try soon but I’m itching to keep making progress on my single player adventure in Folklore. Since I don’t have Stranglehold, the USD 14.99 Map Pack offering 10 maps and 21 skins isn’t of any use to me.
What else hit the store today? Let’s take a look.
A new PSOne downloadable game has hit the store with Jet Moto 3 coming in at USD 5.99.
Rock Band and Folklore get new Add-Ons this week. Rock Band folks get three Oasis songs as a pack in Oasis Pack 1 for USD 5.49 or individually at USD 1.99 each for “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, “Live Forever”, or “Wonderwall”. Folklore players get a free creature that’s the result of the PlayStation Underground contest. I’m guessing that’ll be usable in the online dungeon creation process since the fine print on the download doesn’t note any quests involving it in the main game.
The rather large Stranglehold Map Pack debuts in two flavors — Collector’s Edition or regular — for USD 14.99. This matches the current offering on Xbox Live Marketplace featuring a rather impressive 10 new multiplayer maps and 21 new multiplayer skins. That’s a big value for folks who picked up this game.
Two new free themes land this week as well, one for PixelJunk Monsters and the other for Lemmings. Under game trailers we have one, the Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground: Stevie’s Saker Story Trailer. A couple of movie trailers made the cut this week as well for Step Up 2: The Streets Story and Dragon Wars.
