Retail Roundup: Mixed Feelings.
CheapAssGamer is very popular. While that’s great for when they, say, give Aeropause a shout-out like they did on CagCast #100, it’s not so great when the clearance sales are posted. Invariably, by the time I reach a store mid-day to late in the day they’ve been picked clean if they stocked the items at all.
That’s why it’s with mixed feelings that I bring the latest Circuit City video game clearance to your attention. What titles do I like? Let’s see.
PS3 NBA Street Homecourt $8.96
PS2 GodHand $8.96
GC Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction $8.96
PSP Parappa the Rapper $8.96
PSP Chili Con Carnage $8.96
And there are a whopping 14 Xbox 360 titles in the list for those Achievement-oriented folks out there. Not to mention some DS games I’ve heard are quite good like:
DS Chocobo Tales
DS Elite Beat Agents
DS Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright (1st one)
DS Custom Robo Arena
DS Mario & Luigi Partners in Time
Again, I’m going to guarantee that your Circuit City won’t have had a number of these games in stock at all let alone for this clearance. Mine often has none of these on the shelves.
There’s also the latest Sunday deals post, which continues the long-running trend of putting Call of Duty 4 on sale, this time for Windows and Xbox 360 only. The splatterfest Soldier of Fortune: Payback is also on sale, but I fully expect that to land in the bargain bin very soon.
