Karous by the murder on Wii in Japan, do want
Our pal JC Fletcher over at Nintendo Wii Fanboy got an eyeful at an import shop: Japan’s getting a Karous 3-pack disc for Wii from Milestone containing not only Karous, but two other acclaimed modern scrolling shooters: Radilgy and Chaos Field. I agree with him: that would be some damn sexy boxart. Pair this with your Gamecube copy of Ikaruga, and you’ve got everything you need, tell you hwut.
Preorders for the Japanese Wii import Karous Wii will ship on March 27. 2008.
Milestone gathers together three of their Dreamcast titles and stamps them onto a single disc for the Wii as follows:
• Chaos Field
• Rajirugi
• Karous
All three games are vertical shooters with similar play mechanics where the ships are capable of shooting, shielding, and slashing. In the case of Karous, Milestone adds Wiimote waving functionality to the action so that swishing the Wiimote activates the slashing action so you’re like a real live swashbuckler… without the swagger.
