CAGs Nuke 2007 Child’s Play Goal From Orbit, Just To Be Sure

CheapyDThe first $13,000 rolled in in under five days, but that didn’t satisfy the unbridled generosity of the CheapAssGamer community. All told the overwhelming raffle and donation to Child’s Play has come to a close with oodles of donated prizes given away and … are you sitting down? The total is $27,385.

All this when, before finding the ChipIn service, CheapyD wasn’t sure if they were going to do any giving this year. There are many, many more thrilled children because they did run this contest and all the CAGs banded together to really give away so much great stuff in return for donations.

Our Aeropause hat/helmet is off to CheapyD, Wombat, and all the other prize and money donors over at CAG. But only if we’re in the pressurized airlock already. Nobody would want to clean up that mess otherwise.

This charity has a substantial dollar value attached to it. Okay, look. This is an emotional moment for all of us, okay? I know that. But let’s not make snap judgments, please. This is clearly, clearly an important goal we’re dealing with and I don’t think you or I or anybody has the right to arbitrarily exterminate them.
