UT3Another action packed evening of UT3 last night still has me continuing to sing it’s praises. I’m happy to report that the luster on the title hasn’t worn off at all and as the player base has “aged,” the matches have become that much more exciting.

Last night I had the joy of flying a redeemer for about a minute and a half, weaving in and out of the woods directly into my opponents exposed core. Watching the enemy team’s pathetic attempt to shoot down my incoming redeemer, only to bite on it’s shockwave moments later is about as satisfying as it gets.

Warfare is definitely my favorite game mode. The matches definitely last the longest and tend to be the most balanced as a whole. Before UT3, there hasn’t been a title that pulled me away from Warhawk for this long. It’s just raw fun and if you haven’t taken it for a spin, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

The game really is fun. I think surfing on the hoverboard behind a vehicle is an ingenious way of dealing with vehicle scarcity.

I just need to see them dot the I’s and cross the T’s and release the final mod toolset and see it working well in the community before I pull the trigger on buying it.

Penny Arcade rips on them pretty harshly about the delay.
