Microsoft To Lower Price on Select Live Arcade Titles For Fall Update

With the Fall update less than 24 hours away, Microsoft made the announcement that it is cutting the price on several of its Live Arcade titles in celebration of the update. There is no word on whether this is temporary pricing or if this will be the new permanent prices going forward from December 4th. Along with the price cut, Microsoft also has several new games coming to Live Arcade in the next few weeks.
The price cuts are as follows:
Bankshot Billiards 2 now 800 points ($10USD)
- Lumines Live! now 800 points ($10USD)
- Marble Blast Ultra now 400 points ($5USD)
- Small Arms now 400 points ($5USD)
- Zuma Deluxe now 400 points ($5USD)
Some of the new titles that are coming in the next few weeks include:
- Sensible World of Soccer – Still considered a great soccer game so many years later, you will still have access ot the classic version, along with a new and improved HD version.
- Omega Five – A new shooter that puts you in beautiful 3-D environments. Enemies come from all directions including from the background areas of the level.
- Brain Challenge – Similar to the popular Brain Age games that have come to the DS, this game also looks to stimulater areas of the brain, by using puzzles, color matching and other games.
