Mario Kart Go! slot cars available online.

    By Stephen Munn | December 7, 2007

Yeah, you remember slot cars. We all played with them as kids, right? Now, to go right along with your R/C Mario Kart vehicles, you can drop close to a C-note on a Mario Kart-themed slot car set made by Carrera featuring two cars piloted by Mario and Wario. Of course, without blue shells and banana peels, Mario Kart loses nearly all its charm, but on the other hand, there’s no snaking, and it’s pretty unlikely you’ll fall off the track since it isn’t the Rainbow Road. Which would have to periodically just lead you off the track from time to time, am I right?

I can’t vouch for the site this is on, as I’ve never heard of it before. That said, they’re selling some very cool stuff, like a USB cassette deck and a USB turntable so you can copy your old music to your computer. I was a little unnerved by the alarm clock that apparently will scare the crap out of you, though.

Source: FireBox, thanks to Rob Fleischer. Also available for a bit less money, and currently in stock, at Amazon.
