Double XP This Weekend for PS3 Call of Duty 4

Players of the PS3 version of Call of Duty 4 get a little perk from the developers this weekend in the form of double the normal experience points for leveling up your character online. Some forum posts I’ve seen hint that this is in response to some server or stats issues with the PS3 version. You’ll recall that the servers Infinity Ward had on the PSN were “slammed” by the traffic hitting them just after the game’s bigger-than-expected launch on the PS3. This could be a polite thank you for being patient.
