The Xbox Live Arcade has two new arrivals coming on November 7th, Speedball and Word Puzzle. Both games will come to the marketplace with an asking price of 800 points and the requisite 200 achievement points. They will be fully available at 2:00 AM Pacific time (9:00 AM GMT for those that love standardized time).

Word Puzzle comes from Interserv and offers a mix of 3D boards, exploding word bombs and a host of warped challenges for your brain. Word Puzzle does not go too far from the thing that makes it great however, and that is giving the player tons of word puzzles to figure out. And just when you think the single player game is starting to wind down, you still have the multiplayer component which will put you up against three other players complete with Vision camera support.

Switchball, from Sierra Online, puts you in control of a marble like ball that can change its properties to work its way past intricate puzzles. The ball travels through breathtakingly beautiful labyrinthine mazes as you come across obstacles that you then change properties of the ball to overcome. You can change into Speedball to go faster, or Metalball, to break through an obstacle. The game will also support two player co-op, or eight player multiplayer competitive racing.
