The layers of polish Capcom is applying to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles makes me really happy. Yes, it’s really a glorified light gun game, like… what was it called, Resident Evil: Gun Survivor? Something like that. But done properly, as this appears to be, it could be some light-hearted, zombie-zapping, head-popping good fun. I have a feeling this will be a lot of fun co-op. An exciting, casual experience that could get Wii users up to speed on the general overarching storyline of the Resident Evil franchise… a franchise that is already off and running on the Wii, and all but guaranteed to make more appearances as a result. Resident Evil 5, please.

For some reason, I watch the cursor bobbing around and the zombies taking headshots and it makes me think of that annoying banner ad with the monkey and the boxing gloves.
