So I have been going through all the troubleshooting for Kane and Lynch on the PC, when I stumbled across a post asking about cross platform play in the Eidos Support forums. I thought this was a rather crazy statement, but he said that it was stated on the box that there was cross platform play. Figuring he was probably reading it wrong, I looked at my box and was surprised to see that it clearly stated cross-platform play. I am going to assume that it was a typo, but one has to wonder if they were thinking about adding cross-platform play. Follow the jump to see a zoomed section of the box.

I have sent some correspondence to the PR reps and the support personnel on the Eidos forums, and the most they can say is that the game does not support cross platform play. That is fine, but it just seems strange that they would of put this on every box without maybe, you know, checking it a bit. Then again, considering the game stopping bugs that are in this game, checking out the product seems to have been an afterthought.
