GameInformer featuring Ghostbusters 3 as cover game in December.
Aside from their reasonably regular interviews with the minds behind Castlevania, there’s not a whole lot about GameInformer that catches my eye these days. Every few months though, they get an impressive exclusive reveal on the cover of their magazine. The last one that springs to mind was the Batman Begins game, which looked really, really cool… at the time.
It turns out that while there was no Ghostbusters 3 movie, the acting talent behind the spirit-wrangling team has been pulled together to create a straight-to-video-game sequel, something you don’t really see very often. Naturally, if I can bust ghosts with my Wii Remote and fling out a trap with my Nunchuk, I’ll be pleased to give it a try. No mention of platforms yet, but I’m sure we’ll hear more soon. It’s probably safe to assume we’ll see a license like this on everything from mobile phones up. The 360 seems a fair start, but that’s just a guess.
