Free for Thanksgiving: Halo Mjolnir Mix Download for Guitar Hero 3 on XBL

A great one-two punch for all the Halo and Guitar Hero III fans. For Thanksgiving, Microsoft is releasing a free download for Guitar Hero III. The download is called “The Mjolnir Mix”, which was written by Bungie’s own Martin O’Donell and Michael Salvatori. The best part about this is that the guitar work in the mix is done by guitar great Steve Vai. I have always wanted to see some Steve Vai in Guitar Hero and now to have it along with a great Halo track is just gangbusters.

So make sure to get on XBL tomorrow after you are stuffed full of turkey, ham or whatever you will be eating, because I am not sure if this is a one day only thing. Enjoy rocking out to the Chief.
