EVE Online Mac & Linux Clients Nov 6th; Massively Launches.
The brand spanking new blog Massively — affiliated with Joystiq, PSPFanboy, and PS3Fanboy — has launched to cover all things MMO, and they carry word that the new MacOS and Linux clients for EVE Online will be released on November 6th. That’s quite a bit sooner than I thought they’d be available.
Matt Warner at Massively tried it out and had some difficulties with it, but I can’t tell from how he described it if he had connected up his Vogon Destructor Ship properly to the Transmogrification Box. Yeah I’m not a Mac person so I really don’t get what he was talking about.
I wonder if a Mac user will try these out on his or her shiny new Mac and tell us if it’s any good? You can get 14-day trials at the EVE Online website.
And congratulations to Massively on their launch. Head on over there sooner rather than later as I think they’re giving away copies of Tabula Rasa today.
