Review: Dragon Ball Z – Ultimate Tenkaichi (PS3)

You ever wonder why games like Open Season, King Kong, CSI and now Avatar do so well at the register and the rental counter. Well, it is because of achievement point junkies that look for stuff like the video above. I understand it is a kids game and all, but to be able to stand in one place and get all 1000 achievement points inside of two minutes is just ridiculous.

I really wish that Microsoft would put some of these developers on notice about how easy their achievements are to get. I understand that with some games, it is difficult to figure out ways to get achievements, but the above video shows everything that bothers me with achievements. I like games like Bioshock or Project Gotham Racing 4 where achievements are garnered by doing certain things or going about things a certain way.

I will say that I don’t want things to swing to far in the other direction. I never need another game like Rumble Roses XX with achivements that are borderline frustrating to get all of them.
