Atlus USA Looks to the 360 For New Sales

Atlus Games, publisher of the Trauma Series, Odin Sphere and Persona 3 is now looking at the 360 as a new platform to produce content for in 2008. Atlus, known primarily as a Nintendo and Sony developer, is looking to expand its reach and felt that the 360 was a viable platform for its products. Tim Pivnicny, Atlus executive, said, “We are very proud to pledge our support to the Xbox 360 and to officially partner with Microsoft to bring quality titles to their impressive entertainment system…”

Atlus plans to start small, bringing one new product and one that has already been released in Japan. The first property is Operation Darkness, a strategy, role playing adventure where your character enters the European battlefield of World War II with magic on his side. He uses his magic to thwart the army of Hitler. The other title is Spectral Force 3. This game was launched in Japan in 2006 and gives the 360 another dash of JRPG style. The game offers 150 missions and anywhere between 40-60 hours of gameplay. It is the first time the Spectral Force series has come stateside.
