I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.
This year, we …

“I seriously hope that all the bad reviews do not scare Ubisoft from making the obvious sequels that they planned for.”

Well, if they are making a Red Steel 2, you can bet they’ll make an AC2. ;)

    “Bulletwitch is a mediocre game”

Really? That game got blasted in the reviews. Is it worth renting?

  • Sifer2400 says:

i disagree on the renting thing i think it is/could be worth a buy im still playing i read in another review that you cant play this game on a dead line or try to rush through it. something about playing it like a certain amount of time every chance u get there is flaws certainly

  • Richard Windsor says:

I think for some people it could be a buy. The problem is that the repetitive nature of the game limits how many times a person could play the game. I can’t honestly think I would ever go back and play the whole game over again. Plus I always play a game on my schedule, never around a deadline.

The whole argument that you have to play any game in small snippets for it to be fun is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If a game is amazing it should not matter how long you play it for. I remember playing KOTOR one night and then noticing that the sun was coming up. I shouldn’t have to shut off a game and go to bed because the designers could not think of better missions.

Assassin’s Creed may feel less repetitive if you only play a few hours at a time but that no excuse for making a very repetative game.

  • Richard Windsor says:

I probably could have used a better game there because you are right, Bullet Witch is a horrible game, but I couldn’t stand to play more then the first few levels so passing a final judgment wouldn’t be fair.

  • Sifer2400 says:

i know about the limiting hours thing is stupid but im just saying thats what i read. i myself felt the repetitiveness and truthfully the only reason i want to complete every mission is because im an achievement whore lol

  • Richard Windsor says:

I know you were not reffering to it as your theory. I read the same thing as you did and it didn’t make much sense to me either.

I am thinking about going back and completing some of the achievements. The flag ones though I will never bother with. 10 points for spending 5 hours finding 100 flags….no way man!

  • Sifer2400 says:

yea i dont plan to get any stupid flags deff not worth the time “10 points for spending 5 hours finding 100 flags….no way man!” i hate when games have such stupid achievements at least if there was some bonus content(ex: Bioshock tapes gives you more info on the backstory)there might be some incentive for players to get those ridiculous achievements.

  • used cisco says:

Speaking of KOTOR, what is wrong with me? I couldn’t play more than an hour of that game with wanting to kill myself.

  • used cisco says:

withOUT wanting to kill myself. DOH!

  • Sifer2400 says:

i actually like that game till the final boss thats when i got annoyed and left the game other wise i liked it.
