This Just In: Boss Battles Are Evil in Guitar Hero 3

    By Joe Haygood | October 30, 2007

225px-Guitar-hero-3-gameplay.jpgI have spent some time with Guitar Hero 3 and after my experience and comparing that experience to other players, I think the consensus is that Boss battles in Guitar Hero 3 suck.  They start off super easy on Easy, but starting with Medium difficulty, they become far more difficult.  And then when I talked to a friend that has played up to Tom Morello on Expert found that they were almost unbeatable.

I understand that Activision and Neversoft were trying to add something new, but it just seems like the boss battles don’t fit.  They seem to be far too difficult.  And there is nothing worse than getting stuck on a level or a song that you can not get past.  I am hoping that Activision tones down the difficulty of these boss levels, because as they stand, they are not fun to play.  At least, not after the 30 time, trying to pass it.
