Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow Better In Every Way

It looks like the PSP’s 2006 sleeper hit Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror has a sequel in Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow that all of the major review sites have called better in just about every way. The single player story is better, the single player gameplay and combat is better, the offline and online multiplayer modes are better — it all just works really well. I’m a fan of the original despite its brutally newbie-hostile online play so I’m also happy to see mention of the online play (once again with headset voice support) being better balanced.
UPDATE: The PlayStation Blog posted a list of current scores and a video preview of the game as I was writing this. Spooky.
Here’s the rundown on the current set of scores:
Gamespy: 4 out of 5; IGN: 9.5; Gamespot: 8.5; and PSPFanboy: 9.0.
In my search for interesting links I also noticed an interview with Greg Rucka, the novelist who wrote the story behind the new game.
