Predators To Fight With Honor On PSP

AVP targeting

Fans of the clicky, dreadlocked predators may remember a scene in Predator 2 where the Predator picked up a female cop and, ready to kill her, did one last scan. He noticed she was in the early stages of pregnancy and spared her life as a result. It may make them seem like Klingons, but the Predators in the upcoming PSP game Aliens vs Predators will need to choose their targets wisely on Earth. The game’s honor system will give them credit for taking out the Aliens infesting the planet but will penalize them demerits for slaying innocent bystanders. Just because it bleeds doesn’t mean you have to kill it.

PSPFanboy’s conversation with Rebellion — the developers of AVP fresh off their good work on the Star Wars Renegade Squadron title — also revealed that the Predators will be dependent on energy to power weaponry and heal themselves. No word on a release date for the game in the interview, but the movie it’s based on should be out summer 2008. Why summer? Because the Predators like it hot.
