Lost Planet Finds The PS3

Lost PlanetCapcom announced today at Capcom’s Gamer Day in London that Lost Planet will reach the PlayStation 3 in early 2008. Much hay was made over this game being an Xbox 360 console exclusive even after a PC version appeared in June of this year. The PS3 version will “include all bonus characters from the PC version and extra downloadable content from the 360 version” and will feature 16-player online play via the PlayStation Network.

It’s a year late, but at least it bundles everything together. Here’s hoping the PS3 installed base improves enough to make this port make a tidy profit for Capcom. Hmm, maybe a $399 PS3 launching October 28th could help?
