Ok I think it’s safe to say, of all these years, I’ve finally seen the most elaborate gamer tattoo thus far. This woman had a very large, colourful game-themed tattoo inked recently and consists of just about every popular game character from Pac-Man to Sonic to Donkey Kong.

Judging by the tagline on the bottom – “Leave Luck to Heaven” and her love for games, I’m guessing she’s good, no?

*Aeropause commenter “Starsoul” has claimed that this is in fact her back piece and that she IS good at gaming because she’s been at it since she was a little girl. Don’t worry, your reflexes will slow down with age.

Do you think she’s a Nintendo Fangirl?

Probably not. There’s PacMan, Q-Bert, and Sonic. Depending on her age, it may just be that’s the order of her playing games. Especially if you consider influence on the overall gaming industry, Nintendo had (and has) a LOT of influence.

LOL That is my backpiece. I am by no means just a nintendo fan girl, I am simply a gaming JUNKIE. I have been playing videogames since I was a little girl, since I was able to hold a controller. I am now 25 years and still hardcore gaming. Nice to know you like the ink :)
P.S If you dont know, “Leave Luck To Heaven” is a lose translation for what Nintendo means in japanese. Just a little history, I read lots of game books.

O yea, btw , im good LOL!!! That is how I won my husband.

Did it go something like this?

“If I win, then you have to marry me.”
    “Alright, you’re on!”

Sonic the hedgehog is Sega, and Ms. Pacman is Atari. Not nintendo.

  • StephenJMunn

Sonic is Sega, but Pac-Man is Namco, not Atari. There is no mention of Nintendo in the article. I think the NES controller is part of her gaming history like all the other characters, but not a claim that all these characters were made by Nintendo or even appeared on Nintendo systems.

As a side note, “Leave Luck to Heaven” is widely believed to be the English translation of the intended meaning of the word “Nintendo.”
