One of the things I admire most about the Wii is the Opera browser you can get for a measly five bucks for it. (Try asking your Windows Mobile friends how much their Opera browser costs.) I’ve heard its Flash is good enough to use YouTube and if Nintendo keeps funding updates for it it won’t fall as far behind desktop browsers as the NetFront-built browsers packed in the PSP and PS3 have. I hope Nintendo does because little games like the beta of a browser-based, massively multiplayer game called Hullbreach could be the start of a real, bona-fide commercial ecosystem of web games ready to be played on the Wii.
