Stor3d: Stranglehold demo; MotorStorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Add-Ons

It’s a fifth week of Heavenly Sword anime and making-of videos wrapped into the PlayStation Store alongside a Stranglehold Demo, an NBA Live 08 demo, and Add-Ons for both MotorStorm and Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

The MotorStorm add-on is definitely the most user-friendly, if a bit confusingly worded. You can grab the batch of new content for the game in toto for just six bucks, giving you a new track, new vehicles, new races, and a brand new race mode, or you can pick and choose sub-parts of that pack.

The Sigma add-on gives you a number of “weapons master” survival modes. If you’re one of those sickos that think this incredibly hard action game wasn’t hard enough, I think this set of survival modes will make you cry for your mommy. Or maybe it will make you call up your mommy for hardcore gaming advice, because I swear if you enjoy this game there is something brutal in your upbringing that Division of Youth and Family Services shouldn’t know about. On the upside it’s only three bucks, so you won’t feel so guilty beating it out of some innocent bystander on the way home from the dog track.


And once I get back home from vacation I plan to try out the Stranglehold demo because the great things I heard about it from our recent podcasts kept my interest high enough in the game to enjoy something free that lets me play it.
