South Park WoW Episode Wins Emmy; Simpsons Follows Along

Back in July the South Park episode about World of Warcraft, “Make Love, Not Warcraft” was nominated for an Emmy. Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s brainchild pulled it off and ended up winning the award.
In other cartoon parody news, tonight’s Simpsons episode also parodied online fantasy MMO’s with Bart becoming a super-powerful shadow knight while Marge, also a player, would pursue him and give him motherly advice, breaking the illusion of him being a big bad, evil ruler. It was pretty good, and even included a dig from Moe: “I’m paying $14.95 for this?”
