Ratchet and Clank FTOD Gold, Demo coming, First Review
The PlayStation Blog has a post up noting that Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools Of Destruction has gone gold with the demo due out on October 11th, a week later than originally thought, and the final game slated to hit retail on October 30th. I’m sure the demo will be fun, and with GamesRadar reporting a very high scoring first review for the game in PSM3 in the UK, it looks like we won’t be disappointed. We meaning the Ratchet and Clank and platformer fans with a PS3:
…arguably, the most exciting reason to buy a PS3, and unarguably, one of the prettiest next-gen games in existence.

A return to its roots? That makes me smile and think platforming has a stronger role than the gunplay in this one. The most recent couple of Ratchet games on the PS2 leaned heavily towards the weapons which, I’ll readily admit, were really fun to upgrade, but turned the games into more of a shooter than a platformer.
