Random Game of the Week: Issue 3 – Just Breed

We are back with another issue of random game of the week, provided with some help from MobyGames. If you have any game question for any platform, check them out because they probably have the answer.

This week, we have an entry from Enix, before they merged with Squaresoft. It was a game released on the NES platform called Just Breed. Just Breed was a standard JRPG type game that had you questing and fighting your way through an adventure, in similar fashion to Dragon Warrior or Final Fantasy.

Just Breed has you in a top down view of the game, until a battle ensues and you go to a standard three quarter view of the battlefield while fighting the battle. Players attack based on their timer value, similar to Final Fantasy.

The plot has you chasing down a sorceress that was kidnapped by the main bad guy, Gel du Rey. The sorceress is suppose to perform a ritual to protect the main city. You character and a couple of guards go off to save her while encoutering more friends to join your cause.
