Ones to Watch: September 2007 DS Releases
Well, Garfield’s Nightmare was supposed to be released last month, but apparently it got pushed back to September 4th. The same day also brings us Worms: Open Warfare 2.
Donkey Kong returns on the 10th with DK Jungle Climber, a new action game with new items and minigames.
A new Guitar Hero-style game, Jam Sessions, comes out on the 11th. This one has no peripheral – you’ll simply strum the on-screen guitar strings with your stylus. The 11th also brings 7 Wonders, a puzzle game, and Fullmetal Alchemist the Trading Card Game.
Sept. 17th will bring us AniMates, apparently something like a Tamagotchi, as well as the racing game Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights.
The 18th will be a great day for Sonic fans, when Sonic Rush Adventure hits stores. It appears to be a direct sequel to Sonic Rush. MySims also debut on the 18th – the new Sims game developed specifically for the DS and Wii. The 18th may just be a great day for everyone, with Drawn to Life, Namco Museum, Nancy Drew: Deadly Secret of Olde World Park, and Digimon World (choose from 2 versions: Dawn or Dusk) releasing in addition to the previous titles.
The 25th brings us a new twist in racing games – Race Driver: Create & Race, in which you can design the tracks yourself. If go karts are more your style, check out Cocoto Kart Racing on the same date.
Looks like September’s shaping up to be a great month for DS gamers.
