I’m here in Seattle gearing up for the Halo 3 Launch event at the Bellevue, WA Best Buy. I also happen to be spending the bulk of today playing some Halo 3 at the Xbox Campus with some of the GamerscoreBlog.com crew. Well, those that aren’t attending other launch events.

Go check out Joe’s review of Halo 3, and then come back here and check out my thoughts on Halo 3 multiplayer.

I’ve been playing Halo Multiplayer all day today with 15 others here at the Xbox Campus. It is awesome. We’ve been trying a large variety of gametypes and maps, with all sorts of craziness. There are is one or two maps that get on my nerves sometimes, and I do long for a small claustrophobic map like Midship, but generally, the maps are very well designed, and there are already some that I am sure will be fan favorites.

The weapons that have been added since the beta, like the Mauler (a one-handed shotgun-like weapon) and the Gravity Hammer are interesting and creative in how they affect the Halo multiplayer arenas.

There is a lot to like here, and if you even remotely liked Halo or Halo 2 multiplayer, you are going to need to pick this up and play it.

Oh crap… time for some more Kill Frenzies…
