There’s a kind of a “key” or “legend” to video games, a sort of a way to tell if a game is going to be terrible. Along with a lack of advance reviews appearing online, single-retailer exclusives are one of those indicators. The largest retailer, worst employer and perhaps most unethical corporation on the planet, Wal-Mart, has secured the position of exclusive retailer for Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol… just in case we weren’t 100% certain the game was going to be crap already.

The context of the article is that Gamespot is telling someone who wrote in that indeed no, Chibi-Robo has not been cancelled. Unfortunately. So you’ll see “BOGUS” right after Nintendo’s statement, don’t get confused by that like I did.

Chulip is a Gamestop exclusive and I’m rather enjoying it.

Unicrom deserves so much better than this. Come on now, he is on par with Galactus as a planet eater. He would not decide to sponsor a game like this. Halo 3 maybe, Populos is a given, but Chibi Robo is a no way.

Joe, keep in mind that for every Megatron Unicron converts into a Galvatron, there are a handful of lesser, throw-away pieces of junk. Think about Scourge and the Sweeps. How memorable were the Decepticon jets after their conversion? Chibi-Robo is the Ramjet of Wal-Mart’s Sweeps.

    Wow, I’m frightened of myself.

I knew there was a reason that my parents bought me Ramjet instead of Starscream. Its always about saving money.
