Joe, you’re right on. Not too many people care about Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. DVD is still the format of choice and will be for a long time. Upsampled DVDs look identical to high def to most people, and only a minority even owns a set that can display the difference.

Brent, that’s going to depend on whether GGW can keep afloat with all the idiotic legal decisions they’ve made over the past few years. What kind of a moron sells DVDs of drunk naked minors without keeping some kind of paperwork that allows them to claim they didn’t know?

Yeah, I picked up 300 on HD-DVD without owning a player yet.

I imagine that I would pick up the HD-DVD add-on to the 360 at some point. Though I don’t want to buy a whole new unit just for HDMI outs.

Again, early adopters get the shaft.
