No Cookie For Michael Pachter

The NPD numbers are officially out and Michael Pachter was officially wrong.
1up.com is reporting that the PS3 just wasn’t able to catch up to the 360, after all.
Mostly, we learn that Sony Computer Entertainment America’s SKU altering change — resulting in sales of 159,000 PlayStation 3s — around E3 time wasn’t enough to push Xbox 360 out of the frame, as Microsoft managed 170,000 sales. Of course, Wii and PlayStation 2 continued their mutual domination using “last generation” hardware, pushing 425,000 and 220,000 respectively.
Sorry, Mr. Pachter. You don’t get a cookie.
