New Microsoft Viral Campaign

Viral campaigns are a dime a dozen nowadays, but that is not stopping Microsoft from launching another campaign in order to drum up hype for an upcoming announcement. When you enter the site, called the Site Of Champions, you will need to enter the code 82207 to gain access to the flash goodies. You are then treated to a gaudy looking living room with a bunch of things to click on. I won’t give away anymore as these sites are meant to be viewed to gain the whole experience. The site obviously points to August 22nd as the day for a big announcement, and what I got is that the announcement will launch some type of online tournament system for games like Halo 3, Shadowrun, and others.     Here is my prediction:

    Halo 3 doesn’t have a clan system. bungie said so. They also hinted it might not be needed anymore. This leads me to think that, since bungie wouldn’t screw their fans like that, MS will be launching universal clan support in the next update and multichat will come along with.
    That is what they will announce.
