Long Lost Atari 2600 Label Designs

Sometimes digging around at a garage sale can net you some serious ancient gaming history. Check out the scan of an unused Atari 2600 game label someone dug up on Kotaku (pictured).

Whoops anachronism alert! This is actually the product of a snappy little Atari 2600 Label Maker that seems to have pegged the art style and font of those old cartridges right on.

Better get your cartridge labels while you can. I’ll bet the ability to put the Atari stamp on the image ends up getting them in hot water. That is, if Atari can even afford to hire a lawyer these days.
